I really don't know anything about this type of migraine, BUT put this post in the regular Migraine Discussion section and you will get a lot of responses.

My 15 year old daughter had and acute confusional migraine a few weeks ago and boy was it awful. She does not remmember alot except the horroble head pain. She had residual migraines after for a week . Then they stopped. The neuologist and her pediatrician feel it was due to a hormonal imbalance. took her to a gyno and and found out she has polycystic fybrosis and that her insulin levels were high and she put her on glucaphage( not spelled right)to even out her hormones.Just started it, waiting to see how it works. Your daughter is at the age where the hormones are raging. Maybe talk to your doctor about this.
