"Soluble aspirin for migraines"
I recently read an article about a headache clinic in London, England which uses soluble aspirin for migaines and finds it 40-50% as effective as Imitrex. I use Imitrex almost daily so I decided to try it. Two 500mg or 3 375mg tablets are dissolved in water and swollowed. Since nothing other than Imitrex can alleviate my headaches, imagine my surprise when the migraine lessened considerably in about an hour. The article said you can repeat it in 2 hours if needed. I found the article in 50-Plus magazine, published by CARP, the Canadian chapter of AARP.

I have used asprin. If I catch it early enough, sometimes it works. I find taking gravol with it gives it an extra kick. Wendy
