"dietary changes"
Hello
I havent been here for years. I am thinking of again trying some dietary changes. I don't think I have the patience for an elimination diet.

but have been hearing about gluten as a migraine cause, does anyone have experience with eliminating gluten?

how about eliminating sugar?

thanks--Dee

Hi Dee,

I have found that if I do not eat bread my headaches are more managable. I do try to limit salt in my diet because that is a huge trigger for me.

Have you tried just eliminating one food to see if it helps? If not try bread and see if you notice a difference.

i've found that eating too many sweet things after 7 p.m. gives me hideous pain in the middle of the night. haven't a clue why.

my blood sugar is just fine (i even bought a meter and assessed it at all hours of the day and night) but somehow, my body doesn't like sugar in the evening.

my diet is pretty pure, with hardly any sweets anyway, but when i bake something, i can't leave it alone.

i should never never bake, but i live alone, and i guess sweets in moderation are a substitute for a flesh-and-blood person to interact with. dianne
