Just want to take a moment to thank all of you who so quickly welcomed me to this wonderful site and also for your suggestions and prayers.I have not had the opportunity to read all the messages posted on all topics ,but I think that I have found a great place to vent and get some wonderful support. I had no idea that so many people were suffering from the same pain that torments me and it makes me feel less alone. What I think is really scary is that I am only 17 and cannot imagine living with this pain as long as some of you have. How do you all stay employed,raise your children, have a life? Right now I am either drugged or in pain and the in between times of being pain free are getting shorter.Can you imagine having tickets to see MADONNA and deciding to stay home cuz you couldn't see from the pain and couldn't stop vomiting? Again, thank each and every one of you for taking the time to be soooo nice to me and I wish you all a pain free day. sissy

Dear Sissy, Just wanted to say quick hallo. Yes, it is a wonderfull site and I do not know how ever it was without it, even though I only discovered it few weeks ago.It has made so much difference to know that one is not alone with this nightmare... But,please do not despair - you are young and it is unfair to be suffering, but believe me migraine never stays the same it changes, and we change and we learn to cope and they are better times and more difficult times, too. But you are so young and new discoveries are made. For me Imitrex (Imigran here in England) has made it possible for me to go back to college when I thought I could never be able to do it and I got thet qualifications that I always wanted, so you never knwo what is around the corner. Keep searching for your triggers - are you on contracentive pill? - if so this can cause lots of trouble for us, migraneurs, for example. I just wanted to tell you that here in our homeschool, we have a prayer list and we are putting you on it. My 16 year old son especially wanted to pray for you, since you are about his age (he's in the 11th grade)... he doesn't suffer from migraines, but he does have "perfume-induced" headaches, and he knows what I go through, so he is able to relate somewhat. Have you seen someone who specializes in migraines? Take care, Holly

Sissy, I had HA's from early on, too. I worried abou making it to classes in college and caring for my children when they were babies. Somehow it has all worked out. I am 42, married have 2 college degrees, and 2 beautiful girls. Threr have been some rough times, but way more good times. Just take each day as it comes. You are in my thoughts. Cindy

	Cindy!! I think I just figured out what is causing your headaches! You've obviously packed too darn much information into that head of yours! LOL Seriously- I'm impressed that you could do all that and have these stinking headaches too! Congradulations Steve
