"Tylenol 3/Acetaminophen with Codeine"
When I heard some say there was caffeine in T3...I called two pharmacists to ask for sure. They both said no. Please tell me where you get your info that T3's have caffeine in them. Thank you Terri

Terri, There is just plain T3, and there are different versions that contain caffeine. Not sure what they are called, but they can add different things to many meds without you realizing it. jodi

I was also surprised to hear that Tylenol 3 has caffeine!!! I know that Tylenol 1 has caffeine, which you can by over the counter without a prescription (in Canada). When I take Tylenol 3 I get very sleepy, and if it had caffeine I would be wide awake.

	Oh ok...I was freakin out because I am trying to get off caffeine (and T3 for that matter) but I really need the T3 when I have a migraine. Thanks Terri

	My first little while taking T3's, I would fall asleep too....from the Codienne. After awhile the exact opposit happens! My body has started reacting to the caffeine. I like it better than having to pass out for awhile; at least this way I can get busy and start cleaning my house. Which I might add, has suffered somewhat while migraining But yes, T3's do have caffeine, here in Canada there are other names for T3's without caffeine....Emtec for one! ~Tink~

Hello, Tylenol #3 DOES contain caffeine, I looked it up on the net. However, there is a drug called "Empracet 30" (in Canada, don't know if it's called that in the US) that has the acetaminophen and coedine but no caffeine. Andrew.

	I truly think that the Tylenol #3 in Canada and the Tylenol #3 in the US are different.
