"fioricet vs. fiorinal"
What is the difference? If I can take Fioricet with no problem, can I take Fiorinal?

LAST EDITED ON Apr-06-03 AT 06:53 AM (CMT)

The only difference is, Fioricet has tylenol and Fiorinal has aspirin. As long as you don't have a problem with aspirin, you should be able to take the Fiorinal the same as the Fioricet.

But, some people get relief with the combonation of tylenol, butalbitol and caffiene. Others work better with aspirin, butalbitol and caffiene.

I take the Fioricet. I seem to have NO relief with Tylenol for anything. But for some reason, in the combonation, it works for my head. I think I get the same relief with the Fiorinal, but it doesn't come in a generic and I prefer to buy the generic to get the better price through my ins. (at least the last I knew it didn't come in generic)

Hey TS,

How about Esgic and Fioricet. Is there a difference?

Just curious.

Terri -

Fioricet and Esgic are the same thing...just different brands. Both are tylenol, butalbital, and caffeine.
