I have a family history of migraine. Mine are much better now, but my daughter(age 12) has really bad migraines. She has tried almost every medication there is. Her migraines started at age 7. Would like to talk to other people w/family history of migraine, and also pediatric sufferers who are absent from school frequently due to migraine. My daughter is having trouble w/that in jr.high/middle school. Would appreciate any info. marty satterfield

EACH OTHER AWS OFETEN AS WE SHOULD. i LIVE IN CAROLINA AND HAVE
SUFFERRED FOR THE LAT 20 OUT 0F 22 DAYS. OFTEN MAKING MULTIPLE TRIPS
TO ER OR DOCTOR'S OFFICE.I HAVE BEEN REFRRED TO THE DIAMOND HEAAADACHED
CLINIC IN CHICAGO NEXT FRIDAY. IT IS MY LAST RESORT, OR ALMOST MY LAST
RESORT. THEY WILL WITHER FIND A PREVENTIVE TYPE TREATMENT OR i WILL LOSE
EVERYTHING I OWN. MY MARRIAGE IS SUFFERING. I CAN'T DO MY JOB. I CAN'T TAKE
CARE OF TEH YARD WORK OR PLAY WITH MY PETS. I CAN'T TAKE MY DAD FISHING.
IT SEEMS EVERYTHING ABOUT MY LIFE IS COMING APART AT THE SEAMS. DOES ANYONE

I wrote several months ago about my headaches. They started in 1984 after I had a hysterectomy. My overies were left so I nor
the doctors really believe that they are due to a homone imbalance, though I do now take estrogen since I am now 51.
I also take a new anti-depresent, Serzone in the AM and PM (100mg each), Stadol nasal spray at the onset of the
headache...does not work everytime though...Synthorid for a tyroid problem, Flonase nasal spray for allergies,
and Calcium. In the past 9 months I have had two back surgeries, one at the Lumbar and Sacral spine regions and
one at the Cervical spine level. I took pain pills, valium, muscles relaxers, (2 of them), several other meds
daily for 6 or more months. I was a basket case. I answered the phone when no one was there, I reached out to
things that were not in my reach, I spoke with people that were not there and apparently made phone calls at
strange hours of the night. My MD at the time, finally labeled me a drug addict and essintally abandoned me.
But he has his other problems and has abandoned his other chronic pain patients. I looked for another doc in the
town I live in, and found one that is working trying to find the reasons for my headaches. In the meantime, he
does provide the Stadol spray, but I am under pressure not to have another headache for two more weeks,(when I can
have my medication refilled). I did have one last night and ended up in the ER where I of course was relegated to
sitting in the waiting room until all the patients were gone. Nearly 2 hours of waiting. I was finally called in
and the nurses looked at me with the obvious ridicule of "Oh my god, you're here again?" My doc was supposed to
call in a med for me (Nubain 20mg and Phenergan 50mg), but apparently he forgot...not sure of that...I went home a
nd the headache did subside and I do not have it today, just the hangover of the headache. I don't take Demerol,
it gives me a rebound headache. Verapamil gives me heart palpitations and shortness of breath, I can't take
Imitrex because of a strong history in my family of heart disease, though my heart is, so far, fine. Sansert
worked for the headaches...making them stay away, but the med gave me the same symptoms as Verapamil and I was
taken off it. So, I can relate to all of you in your search for a cure or at least the DEA and MD's to understand
that there are people out there that have REAL pain and need pain medication, we are not drug addicts, we are just
people that have pain and need understanding and medication. Thanks for listening, and I hope to hear from some of

I am looking for an international parmacy for my expensive RX's. When I went to Mexico on a vacation,
I was able to buy imitrex tablets at half the cost. I have tried to surf the net looking for a pharmacy,
but can't find one to supply me with all of the different med's I take. Especially the xanax and the stadol.
